Default Alan Sputhe

So I wake up this morning to a text from my brother telling me Mom has finally passed away from her pancreatic cancer at 88 years old. Okay, today is not off to a good start. It was not unexpected, the doctor told us when they discovered her cancer, at the same time my dad passed away in a different room at the same hospital, that we should all get together for the holidays as she probably wouldn't make it much longer. I can't believe with a life span of 6-16 months after diagnosing pancreatic cancer that they hit it with in hours.
Then I go to my emails and see that it is Alans birthday and I go to Facebook to wish him a Happy Birthday only to find that he also had passed away in Aug. Now we have to ride his kid to see if he will bring back the infamous heads for reproduction.

Sorry to hear of your loss... Losing both parents within such a short time... But they are at peace and you had a chance to say good bye...

Those days are never fun. Be who you are and help your family through it. Spring is soon and we can all go for a ride.

Pancreatic cancer is the worst. My dad lasted 2 weeks after diagnosis. The last 5 days were on life support so we could all make it home to see him.
