Belt should not have that much tension on it.
Perhaps my description of the process was not 100% clear.
Remove nothing other than the 5 retaining bolts for the pulley itself. This will still allow the pulley to reside on the centering flange on the wheel hub. At that point, with bike in neutral, you should be able to turn pulley, belt and front pulley. You then stop turning when "spokes" (the decorative cutouts in the wheel) in the wheel are in alignment with "spokes" on the pulley. Then reinstall the 5 retaining bolts with red loctite and torque back to spec.
Does that make sense??

You can see the flange on the wheel in the first pic of new wheel without pulley on it.

I agree with Iron Mike, it would look better if lined up and you would expect them to if designed by the same company.
I did not realize the bike was in a shop, is it still there? You could ask them to work out if it would indeed line up before removing the bolts. It could well be that they all land in the same place no matter which hole is chosen.
Also be interesting to see what weight difference there was between the stock and new set up. The stock rear wheel is stupidly heavy.
If you don't need to sell the stock wheels, i would keep them and put them back on if you ever sell the bike.
Does look good now though!
