I very seldom have more than one bike at a time (I did have three at once a while back), and the Sportster is just reminiscent of the older bikes I rode in the 70's. A basic, fun bike that has modern reliability. It's probably my last bike.

I don't find it top heavy at all....but it is a Hugger.

My only bike is my 124 cui Sportster. Its a 1993 XL which I bought 2004.

Of course, the Roadster gives me two bikes in one...a sport bike feel and performance (close enough), and I can still have a Harley. If I hadn't run across the Roadster by accident, I likely would be on a Yammer MT-07.

My 2012 bought new 1200 C was a PITA to ride.

Since I did put a sprung solo seat, RK rear shocks, RK bars and footboards, it became the best bike I ever have had. Long range trips with no trouble at all.

So, yes, if I had to keep only one bike, it would be my Sportster...
