Ironhead Question about CV carb on iron head.

Hello,
I have one question i can't seem to anwser or figure out with my carb setup.
I have a 76 xlh with a 40mm cv carb 170main jet and 45 slow jet. With a screened velocity stack.
While riding or on the side stand at part throttle or above i can feel gas being spit out on my leg. And i can see fuel on my vStack. I've played with the jetting to no avail. I can't seem to get it to stop. I have no leaks and the bike runs really good and strong.

Am I missing something? Or is this normal for CV without an air cleaner?

Running drag pipes? They make a phenomenon known as reversion even worse, which results in fuel going the wrong way out of the carb.

I think that sporty parts exhaust would be a good replacement, but for that price I imagine you could make it yourself for a lot less, or have an exhaust shop make it for you. Either way. But, just to keep the gas off of your leg, yes the lollipops will definitely work.
