Thanks. The new trans ratios are doing the job there. The clutch is as close to perfect as its ever been. Just one issue... The rider. I keep shifting to 2nd early, and I need to leave at 74 or 7500 to get out of the bog on the hit. I thing if I can get that done, I can get consistent 1.5x 60s.

Gotta work under the cover and get the clutch right first, shouldn’t have to think about it. PB’s are nice but need to focus on rounds no matter what the number. PB’s will follow. Early #’s look better than the back half, you still running through fourth?

Running through 5th. I don't think I can get the clutch any better unless I buy that fancy setup you have. I really just need to do my dob on the tree and the 1-2 shift. Everything will follow. Still playing with the leave rpm. Still need to go up in rpm. 7000 to 7200 still wasn't enough.

I wasn't until very recently. I had a lot of issues last year and they compounded into a very severe temper tantrum at the last race of the season. Like i said. I lost a lot of races to missed shifts. When I broke the trans the day before race 1 I really didn't know what I was going to do. One of the top bike guys pulled me aside and we talked about why I was racing. I am doing all this in memory of my father. So it was time to stop stressing and to just start doing and having fun. I brought the vrod and raced it for race 1. What do you know... I won the event and pulled top qualifier. Even yesterday when I had to pull primary apart it wasnt a big deal. I do this to relax... Win or lose a bad day at the track is still better than a good day at work.
