Default 83' Ironhead with extended forks- Looking for kickstand solution

Hello friends it been a long time.. I finally had the time to finish my ironhead. installed a mikuni carb, front brakes, and pipes off a 77.
Other than that, I have to do some chargin system tests because I constantly have to charge the battery. Not sure if it's even good anymore. Bene over 2 years.

The issue i Would like to resolve now, because it's getting on my nerves too much, is the kickstand. Right now I have to lift it up on about 4" of wood blocks or a curb that isnt too high.. If the pictures uploaded correctly, then you can see my kickstand mount. its about 5/8" thick. the bilt throught the kickstand is stripped and cracked in two at the other end. Another reason I held off on solving this issue. . My first idea was to cut a V notch on the underside of the mount with the bike leaned over on the wall.. Heat up the metal and bend it about 15 degrees down, reweld. I could also get a new stand entirely and grind off the original one... more work. extend it? it's already 16"... 8" more would be sufficient but ridiculous.

My question to you is... How would you solve this?

the pictures are a drag to open
if you get an imgur account, upload to your account. when you need to post a picture you click on it and another screen opens with options. the bottom two are the ones for you. the second to last will give you a link that you post into your iron post and it will post the picture. a tip here is to edit the size no bigger than 8" or you will cause people to have to drag the scroll bar to see it 6" even better.
the last option will give you a link when posted inserts the link so one has to click on it to see it.

so your kickstand has a bolt or pin that cannot be taken out?
i would not cut the frame, better to extend the arm out, that is what i did on my 74ch when i had extended forks.
if the frame is like my ch, you do not want to mess with it if it is cast steel. whole diff process than throwing a rod on it. done wrong could crack along the weld line.

Since forks are extended. You might rethink fabricating/using a rear mount kickstand.
TO move things from front to back.

instead of the stock mount., Don't cut it off though. Just remove the arm.
I am pretty sure mountain bicycles have adjustable arm kickstands also. To give you ideas.
Like a threaded turnbuckle in the middle.
