It was great to see everyone at the meet and eat, we were talking about my new garage - shop, and I didn't have a picture to show you guys.
Anyway, it's 30 wide, 34 deep, with 10 foot walls, I plan to put a lift in down the road. I rented a little Kubota excavator today and dug a trench and my son and I ran a water line and the conduit for electrical. I have some of the lights hung up, I've had to rely on my sons for some help with things since I'm still in a cast.
Plans are to do some work for myself in this building, I like to buy cars that need some work, fix them and then sell them. I don't want to work on cars for other people unless it's small and quick, like a brake job, no full restorations, life is too short for that. I also may do some motorcycle paint work, but only if I like you.

Nice garage Joe, hmmm, if I get Orange roadworthy by Spring she might appreciate a tank repaint, oh and that battery cover that got airborne at a highly excessive rate of speed is a little rough. Believe I have enough of the factory paint remaining, we’ll talk.

Well folks, the cast is off! Now i'm just trying to make my hand work again, I've started therapy, and it's getting a little better everyday, but I still have along way before things are normal.
On the job front, my buddy from the Chevy dealership I was supposed to start at when the accident happened called to let me know the owners have decided to close the Bodyshop. They built a new dealership 2 years ago, but didn't build a new collision shop. Turns out they want out of the body business and want to use the current building for a commercial truck dealership. So, I would be looking for a job anyway. I have another friend at another Chevy dealership that needs a Bodyman, he would hire me right now if I was ready, hopefully they don't find someone in the next month, and it will all work out.

Wishing you the very best with job prospects. Keep working that hand. I found flexing and contracting my hand in a pan of very warm water did help a lot.

Thanks Paul. The pan of hot water, then cold water is one of the things she has me doing, and it does help loosen it up.
