And here are the pictures:

Here you can see the where I had to chop the old brake lever. Eventually I would like to take the peg off, and round off the entire edge, but I really wanted to get the pegs on, and wanted to see how they looked on the bike. I don't think it looks horrible, but it will definitely look much better when it mirrors the shift peg.

Update: 1/17/08

Blinkers arrived @ the house today, and I will be picking up my run/turn/brake harness tomorrow. I'm told that it should actually be plug and play with my 99, but the reason that HD says it is NOT compatible is b/c in 2000 they changed the rear signals to bullet style markers, and this kit comes w/said red lenses. So here's keeping my fingers crosssed that it is just plug and play...worst case i'm doing some soldering/crimping.

So if time permits, rear LED's will be on this weekend. Also spoke w/Sik-n-Twisted, and they got my bars back from being powdercoated today, will be wiring them up, and shipping out those puppies tomorrow!

Will post pics tonight/tomorrrow.

Thanks for looking!

HotRod: 13" Monkey Barz....basically a kick ass set of Apes (should have a pic of them this time next week, if not sooner.

Snowman: Not sure if i'll get the brake done this weekend. But it'll definitely be fixed up b4 spring gets here!

In regards to the finish...would i be able to polish up the brake lever to have a full shine again, or would it need to be rechromed? I think you can see what i mean from this picture? http://www.cramcreations.com/images/...s/IMG_2265.jpg

Great work on the bike so far...let me know how you made out on the bike with those lights, I saw them on eBay and that will be part of my project of funds allow. Hopefully they will be plug and play *crossing fingers- for both of us lol*

I'm gonna put the rears on this weekend (if time allows--meaning i need to set aside a few hours for it). The bolts that came with the screws seem a bit short to go all the way through the strut into the fender....however, it looks like if i loosen the bolts holding the struts onto the bike, i'll be able to bolt the blinker right into the strut, and hide all the wiring that way.

Now the fronts have me baffled...might call up the guy @ Harrison...My plan was to mount the front blinkers the same way as the stock fronts are...problem is that the stock blinkers are female mounts, whereas these are male mount. Also the stock blinkers wiring comes out the back of the blinker, whereas these come straight through the mounting bolt...as I said I really want to mount these from the hand controls, so I'm going to have to do quite a bit of thinking, and flipping through magazines...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...and now the comparison pictures...

Big @ss stockers vs. Harrison Specialty LED's

And the front bars...even though they won't be going on these bars

Will follow up this weekend with how the rear install goes.

Marc

AMBullDogg - I was a bit skeptical before buying them for that same reason...but spoke with someone on the board that has them (Snowman), and said the suckers are bright as hell...even in the daytime.

I appreciate your concern though as we all want to be SEEN on our bikes...not hit!
