Default 1995 Sportster 1200, Black/orange, S&S, Supertrapp

Hello from Norway.

My english is not so good, so there will be a lot of pictures and not som much talk

Bought this sportster 1200 for a week ago.
It need some work to be a good bike again, but I think it has potential.
It did not run when I got it, but with new spark plugs and new gas it started easy.

I dont know so much about it yet, but it have a S&S carb, S&S heads, Supertrapp exhaust, softail rear fender and a wider front.

Plans will be:
A good service
Another seat
Drag bar or lower risers
Forward controls
New paint on the rear fender (it is schratched and bad)

The day I picked it up

First test ride

This is how the gas looked like before I cleaned the tank. Gas was from 2015

The K&N filter needs a good cleaning to, maybe be replaced

Nice looking bike! I'm kind of fond of the 95s. I like the paint job. Drag bars and a different seat will make it rock!

That air cleaner can be cleaned and re oiled. K&N makes a kit. https://www.knfilters.com/clningacc.htm

Welcome from western New York State USA!

That gas is more than likely bad ethanol blend. It's called phase separation.
