A couple things.
1: I could not access the bottom of the backbone tube which terminates under the battery box, just above the rear engine mount. That will be the main wiring access point from the handlebars to the ICM/TSSM/Battery.

2: I'm relocating the regulator from between the downtubes to underneath the engine to eliminate the wiring going to that part of the bike. That bracket will get chopped.

I had the harley angled drags on there for over a year and found that my hands naturally prefer a more straight angle by the way I was gripping those bars. As far as the controls go, I understand what you're saying and guess I'll just have to find out. Thanks for the warning though.

The blue tape represents the area where I will be chopping the rear fender. I'm going to cut the struts short first and then draw the cut-line for the fender. I'm ordering the Lepera Bare Bones tomorrow.

What are you going to do for a bike while your ride is down? Or will that be the motivation to get her done fast?

I could borrow my wife's Suzuki... nah, I'll wait.

My motivation is that with the holidays coming up, I'll have time off of work and I'm also between semesters at school.
