Blipping the throttle is correct way to down shift, for people who did not understand this is why manufacturers created the slipper clutch for sport bikes to keep the tire from dragging after a down shift. If you have a chance you need to watch the video twist of the wrist 1 and 2 from youtube, it will change how you ride and could save your life

I voted yes probably just because thats how i learned to do it. Only exception is when im trying to stop or drop speed quick

I never really noticed I was blipping the throttle on a downshift until I put Magnaflo Slip-Ons on. The lighter bikes I used to ride would drag the rear tire if I didn't "Blip".
