DO NOT use GMAIL.COM email for XLFORUM.NET
Gmail.com is blocking all emails from XLFORUM.NET and I have not been able to fix the issue. XLFORUM does not send out SPAM. You can verify this here https://check.spamhaus.org/not_liste...rm=xlforum.net
XLFORUM.NET email is not even being sent to a GMAIL user's SPAM folder where the user can decide if it's SPAM or not.
GMAIL is the ONLY free email service doing this.
I have over the last four months performed all actions, and configured all settings, that Google requires and it is impossible to email or call them for support unless I pay them thousands of dollars a year. I give up.
If you want to use a GMAIL account I suggest registering with a Yahoo.com, Duck.com, or Hotmail.com account and set up a rule in that account to forward XLFORUM.NET email to it.
If you are already an XLFORUM user the only way I know to get XLFORUM email notifications is to change the email address on your account to a non-GMAIL email address, and then create a rule that sends any email that email address receives from XLFORUM.NET to your GMAIL account.
So GMAIL users currently are not receiving notifications of responses to threads they are subscribed to, notices that they have a private message, notices that their XLFORUM team membership will be renew or be cancelled, are unable to change their password since it requires email verification.
I am very sorry for all the XLFORUM Gmail users but there is nothing I can do to fix this since I am unable to get any support from Google. If anyone here has some personal Google contacts that can help me out please have them contact me at xlforumadmin@xlforum.net
For all the computer geeks out there that might be able to help me correct this issue, here is what GMAIL sends every time XLFORUM sends an email to a GMAIL account. I have done everything in the link they provided. SPF and DKIM is set up correctly.
Code:

Have you brought this to the attention of your hosting company? Ours was very helpful with this problem. But until we dropped our shared hosting plan and ponied up for a VPS, we couldn't completely solve it, it kept popping back up. It only takes one disreputable customer on the same server to create the problem for everyone else.
I imagine you already have a dedicated server, or at a minimum a VPS, right? Still, your hosting company may have some ideas.

Dedicated server. The host provider has helped with the correct DNS entries.
Google makes it so complicated and difficult now. With all the AI they have created you would think things like this wouldn't happen.

It can actually be third party blacklist sites.
funny, they can stop innocent people yet the spammers and pedo rings go on and on.

You have to do that in PayPal. Just insure your PayPal funding source is up-to-date and what you want it to be.
Thanks for your continued support!!

Hi, the info you provided in post #1 leaves me with some questions ?
I checked the domain xlforum.net for it's MX record that mail goes through, or should.
# dig -t mx xlforum.net
xlforum.net. 3053 IN MX 10 mail.xlforum.net.
it says mail.xlforum.net
Then i tried to check your SPF record
# dig -t txt xlforum.net
xlforum.net. 3417 IN TXT "v=spf1 ip4:23.235.244.47 ~all"
The odd thing is that IP 23.235.244.47 comes back as srv.xlforum.net NOT what your MX record is set to "mail.xlforum.net"
# dig -x 23.235.244.47
47.244.235.23.in-addr.arpa. 3425 IN PTR srv.xlforum.net.
I realize in DNS both mail.xlforum.net and srv.xlforum.net resolve to the same IP,
# nslookup srv.xlforum.net
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: srv.xlforum.net
Address: 23.235.244.47
# nslookup mail.xlforum.net
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: mail.xlforum.net
Address: 23.235.244.47
But i would expect issues if both are A records and one is not a C record for the other ???
Can you explain why it is setup the way it is ?
Are you savvy enough to share some telnet tests of you sending mail from your server to a gmail account so i can see the
place it fails ?
Also the newest email i have is from 2020 so can't seem to find your DKIM record in DNS, care to share the TXT record of that ? In short can you share your "selector". Thank you
-Angelo
