A thank you from... Hardtail28
Well, after months of confusion, sweat and oil soaked manual pages, I finally got the tranny in and my beloved bike is back on the streets. This is just a note of appreciation to all of the members on this site that took a few minutes out of there day in order to help a "perfect" stranger (me). All of your advice not only got 'er running perfectly but a few post in particular could have very well quite honestly have prevented an easily avoidable but catastrophic event (drive sprocket tourque) ((35-65lbs, 1979 1000xlh), I would have been at least 55 lbs.over tourqued. Anyhow, from the desk of Hardtail28, I sincerely thank all those who contributed.
