Non resistor vs resistor plugs
I have a Dynatek module and coil on my 04 XL 1200 C and currently have resistor type plugs installed. It runs great but I always look for better if it can be had even if it’s just a little bit
Would there be any benefit with non resistor plugs? I am deaf so radio interference is not a problem
Also the rear plug isn’t far from the module so would it cause EMI problems with it?

For your bike, non-resistor plugs will give zero benefit. (And you may have a tough time finding non-resistor plugs in the size you need.)

I have found them at several online retailers.
My compression us 10.5 and I use 8 heat range plugs
I’ll probably try anyway because NGK Iridium’s with no resistors are only $8.99 from a racing equipment store
Guess I was mainly concerned about them interfering with the module and sensors

before resistance wires showed up, there were resistance plugs. the resistance has nil effect on the firing voltage. the average plug fires around 8k.
if you are running resistance wires, the plugs can be either/or.
now if you mod the engine heavily, ignition can make a diff voltage wise.
a big issue is modern computer control especially with digital process signals, EMF induced into the system can make the ecu go dumb! can only do what told to do.

I use screamin eagle 10 mm .5 ohm wires
As long as they won’t break anything I’m going to give them a try.
It’s crazy man it’s seems there’s never enough when it comes to my bike
I’m not like that with anything else I have
Leaving well enough alone…I can’t do it and sometimes it don’t work out

I've run resistor and non-reisistor plugs with spiral wound low resistance wires. Non-resistor plugs with spiral wound wires do generate radio interference.
Resistor iridiums with .040" gaps will probably give you all you're gonna get.

I'm using the SE 10mm wires too (and they do have RFI suppression) along with NGK iridium plugs and that combination works work fine on my 08 XL.

I'm running Taylor 10mm wires and NGK resistor iridiums and they do work just fine. The same pair of plugs currently have 20,000+ miles on them...

i am running cotangers!
no resistance per say but do not brush up on them unless you are sleepy and need to stay away while riding!
