My 1980 XLH has 0 miles on it. It had 0 miles on it when I bought it and after 2 years of regular riding it still has 0 miles on it. I can prove it too since it doesn't have any gauges.

That is an honest-looking bike

Price is not bad for what it looks like. More experienced people on here can tell exactly how stock it is

all the covers on the motor and primary, sprocket cover etc. have been chrome plated.$$$expensive but probably hurts the resale value when it's an antique now.

Completely lacking in facts and detail about what is being sold.
Packed with conjecture and innuendo.

A mod like this would not be applied to a 900cc motor, they would need a big bore stroker under those heads to make them work.

I file this along with XR teenage fantasy (drunken campfire glory) stuff. (Kleenex and hand lotion included)
Here is another set, possibly a little more legit. far better priced.....

And another set

IDK why people will put up 16 photos and none of the complete bike. I want to see the whole bike from each side, then some detail photos.

From what I can see, it looks like a mashup of a lot of different bits, but not a bad looking bike. If you can check it out in person, run the numbers and the paperwork matches... if might be an ok deal. (It's not a "drastic reduction" but maybe a $5000 bike)

I live in a high desert environment very much like where that ‘57 is.
This pic is supposed to represent a fresh build with 150 new miles in a high desert area...

This was my CH with many hundreds of miles on it after I had done a thorough top end rework. Again in a high desert area.

Nothing on that ‘57 looks like it’s been recently apart. And if it was, how does anyone allow that head / cylinder paint to remain that way and expect a buyer to think they got a quality job ?!?! How do you do a rebuild and not clean the cases ? Is there supposed to be a wire on the genny post ?

I’ll crawl back under my rock...🤮
