Default Daytona power adapter.

Hi
So the tc88a came in today with the disk and the power adapter.
I think I will need some help.
there is no instruction with the power adapter.
Would someone know how to connect the power adapter to the tc88a or be able to check my logic.

I have 2 wire from the plug that goes in the wall to the Deutsche 12 pin
Pin 1 (power) and Pin 11 (Map input)
I would think that it should be
Pin 1 Power and pin 5 module ground.

Since the unit would be powered by the external source I would only need to have the white wire in pin 12 and connect the other end to the white wire on the usb interface.

I will also ask daytona for some info. I'm not connecting anything before I know.

Any input I can get will be really appreciated.

yes I was just reading that .
The power adapter is 2 wires
One black one black with a gray lines spaces on side.
So I have to make sure in case there is a polarity specification.

Also I just realised the the white wire goes in pin 2 not 12.

I'm not rushing this.

I was able to find this for the power adapter. Does not explain much.

TC88A POWER ADAPTER
Power adapter P/N 18006 consists of a 12V DC
wall plug-in type power supply and a short adapter
harness.
1. Power adapter hookup. Connect the black 12
terminal Deutsch connector to the TC88A ignition
module.
2. USB interface cable hookup. Connect the 4
terminal Deutsch connector on the adapter
harness to the mating Deutsch connector on the
USB interface cable. Use the “TC88A And All
Others” switch position.

Be sure how you are counting the pins - Look on the connector for pin#...

Your second note seems to indicate that the adapter cable that comes with the power supply should have a 12 pin connector to the TC88A and another 4-pin connector which is what you plug the USB adapter into... Which means it looks very much like the on-the-bike adapter shown in the install instructions...

hi From what i see it will be 3 wires into the Deutsche connector
Power
Ground
pC link.

I'll see what Daytona support says.

I did not get a reply yet from Daytona twin tec about the power adapter.

Is there anyone on the site that used a power adapter??

Default Diagram for Power adapter TC88A

So I talk to Daytona. They sent me the diagram to wire the power adapter to the unit so I can use the desktop.
Was just a matter to move a couple of pins around.
I'll use the factory settings first. Then I'll have to get a base map for a converted 883 to 1275 with 210 Psi compression and slight ported head.

Anyone running with similar mods?
