Default Primary cover gasket? 81-XLH

I didn't think this would be a challenge; however, I need some input to sort this:
1) the footer stud washer looks ok

2) the shifter shaft has an extra seal. Didn't fit anywhere else and probably not necessary.
3) the chain tensioner shaft seems like it should have a seal or gasket but it doesn't.
4) the clutch cable has an o-ring and a copper washer. Okay.
It is a James Gasket set.

Am I missing something here?

O ring on shifter shaft may cause binding/unnecessary.

Oring on cable adjuster not good as adjuster will probably shake loose.

I use a 3/8 copper washer on the adjuster pivot stud and a new nylock.

#2, the o-ring on the shifter shaft should be replaced by
part number 35404-74, THRUST WASHER, shifter shaft

The washer is .030" thick. It may be difficult to find a correct one other than by getting the actual part as it is not a standard size at a hardware store.

Thanks, Rick and Mick. I'm reminded of an old joke about why a certain ethnic group was never given more than a ten-minute break because they would require retraining.
I had previously ordered those shims and forgotten about it.
Just need to source a nylock nut locally for the chain adjuster stud and since I have time I'll anneal the copper washer and put it underneath. I'll get a metal washer for underneath the clutch adjuster nut and ditch the o-ring.

Well, I ended up putting a new nylock nut on the chain adjuster stud without any washer or seal. I'm wondering if I will have an issue here.
The oil I put in looked like Dextron II ATF instead of the sperm oil that was in there when I drained it.
New main seal came in today so my work is cut out for me.
I will be riding soon...

Definitely leaks oil here. This bolt doesn't even show up in the 81 factory parts manual.
Should I use a copper or a fiber washer here?

I'd go with a fiber washer unless it is critical that it maintain a "torque" setting.

A copper washer is what I use here, Auto parts store or Ace Hardware.

On both the tensioner pivot nut and the oil level screw.
