Default Rubber mount shocks on a rigid mount

I’ve read that rubber mount shocks fit on a rigid mount. And I’ve read that they don’t. Does anyone here know for a fact one way or the other.

Thanks again for the toleration of my stupid questions.

Will

Most shocks are sold by eye to eye length, not model specific. What did you have in mind? A side note, I’ve swapped shocks between my two “rubbers” and my “rigid” without adverse affect.

Just in general. Most companies, like legend for example, sell shocks for 04-21 and they say they won’t warranty them if they know you’re putting them on an 01.
