Default 1994 xlh 883 key codes

Hello all!
Since the previous owner lost one key and the key ring with the original key code for reproduction I'm wondering how to find out that code.
Here in Europe there is a site that sells nos OEM parts included keys.
On mine there is only a "C" but none other numbers or letter, is It possible that this is the complete code??
By the way they sell a "c" Code key...
May please someone help?
Thanks
Thomas

If you have the current key for duplicating, then you simply need the right blank to cut...

See this chart for blank codes - 'C' is on there - See if that is the key shape of what you have...

You can look at some of these keys to see if your teeth pattern match a cut code:

That "C" is for 2012+ according to the diagram. I could not get anything from the dealer for my '95. A local hardware store around here had some blanks and they cut me a key. I would bet that the blank I got would work for you if you can have a key-maker cut a dup. I'll swing by this weekend to see if they can sell me a HYD 13 blank.

I think this is the blank you need if you want to have that key copied. Here in the States that was my only option as our dealers would not even try to look for my key code. That being said, your's might be this "C" (link). Mine was a one character code as well. If you want one of my blanks - it's yours. Just need to know where to send it.
