I ran the cycle shack 1.75 to 2.25 and it was duck hunt below 4000ish rpm. Maybe 1.75 to 2.5, I forget.
Yours 2 to 2.5? Stepped drag pipes? I know Charlie D runs 2 to the muffler and Troy n Joe run 1.75 to muffler.
Or are the slip ons?
I even thought about stock 91-03 exhaust with cycle shack slip ons. But I’ve ditched all my stock headers over the years

Possibly another year where the frost might be out soon and I’ll be axxholes to elbows busy af really soon. We still need to set up the clutch and pull the tranny for inspection. Bike has a difficult time hitting second at wfo, been that way for awhile. I think I have enough spare parts to fix the issue. Hopefully a test ride or 2 to check things out then on to the tranny/clutch. Some 40s/50s coming then cold again so my window is small to test things. Bike fired, tach gave me heck , but it sounds healthy and nothing obviously wrong. Pretty funny when you rebuild a beat up bike that your best friend bought new in 2003, put a 100k on it then it went to hell when he stoped caring for it. And I bring it back to life with the parts it had, some new and lots of shelf parts and it turns out like your other 2 XL’s lmao

I never thought I’d be using a bolt bin and snooping through 20 years of parts from myself and friends back when we used to ride a lot more than race. Crazy what you save, time goes buy and find things you need!
