Default Cometic gasket set part # ?

Hi all,

I've been looking at a top end gasket set for my Sporty since I've currently got a leak from the front base gasket and front lower pushrod seal, but I can't find the correct part number on the Cometic site.

The bike is a 1996 XL1200S and I may do cams at the same time, so actually the part number for the full kit wouldn't go amiss either.

This is the search I've run on their website:

https://www.cometic.com/search.html?...ster+kit+3.500

Sporty kits with the 3.5" bore (1200), but none of the kits are narrowed down by year of manufacture so I can't really tell what's for an ironhead, rigid or rubber mount...

Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to order the gaskets ASAP.

Cheers,
Andrew

Any of those kits should work for you as they are all evo kits and have pretty much the same gaskets.
I have gotten several sets for the ironhead and they specify for the ironhead and the ones I have gotten for the Evo cover several years and so far have all been the same set.

I've used the ETS top end rebuild kit. I've also had to order extra gaskets and had similar questions because I have S&S adjustable pushrod covers. If you call cometic, they'll be able to track down the proper part that you need
