I'm glad to hear that. Where do you think most of the weight savings came from?

I have been trying to compensate for my Iron jugs and aftermarket cases, but I have never weighed the bike to see where I'm at. I think my main weight savers are the Lithium battery, XR style tail, Sun rims, Yamaha forks with PM calipers, an aluminum 30 tooth crank sproket, and a titanium front axle. I used to have a compufire starter and aluminum clutch basket which were both slightly lighter than stock. I took out the combination of aluminum basket and compufire fire because the strong starter combined with weak basket starter ring ate up the teeth.

Fingers crossed I'll have an XR1200 crank installed soon too which will save weight. I need to take some measurements of the cases so Aaron can determine if its feasible. My hydraulic press arrives tomorrow.

These events include Hillclimbing, Flat Track Racing, Ice racing, Drag Racing, etc.. They are all sports dominated by Harley Davidsons. They are always located in scenic areas and are great weekend rides. The above link allows XLforum users to coordinate riding to these events together.

The biggest loss I would say is the wheels first, then front end, swing arm, oiltank/battery, then all thin small cuts here abd there.. the motor weight savings were pretty much canceled out by the cast irons jugs as far as static weight goes. But yea 433 is great and right about what I guesstimated it would be about. This was with a full tank of fuel as well. May go to an aluminum tank and carbon cover to cut a few more eventually

Well amazingly things worked out, and I am headed to Kentucky today for the AMRA super street races. Super stoked! A friend Chris M. Is coming 170 miles out of his way from Oklahoma to swing me and the bike up and we are headed out! Can't thank him enough for that, really great guy! Looking forward to meeting a lot of the guys I've known for years but never met.

Will be posting stuff throughout weekend
