I actually got the battery cover clips yesterday. I havent been off of work long enough to go swap them out, so I dont know what the difference between them is. I do know that, when I went to order them, using the part # in the above link. The part was changed from an A to a C, as it was the latest part #. The actual changes in the part though, I dont know. Nor do I know that they fit yet. SHOULD find out tomorrow.

Ronnies Hd does have the clips, thanks! The dealership will as well, or they can order some for you.
However, on my 2006 Sportster 883, the new dual-clip style creates a space between the cover and the frame. I’m concerned water will seep into the fuse box/battery. Any fixes/suggestions for a more flush fit?
Not sure how to post a photo yet from my mobile

I've had the clips for several years and probably 40-50,000 miles with no issues. It wasn't water proof to begin with.
