Yeah, as this is a thread on the 07 fuel pump I figured it would be understood I meant 07s, though I'm sure you're correct... those in parts of Arizona might have the moisture evaporate quickly enough after a rain and save them the dielectric grease every year.

07, 50K no fuel pump problems- clutch, rocker cover gaskets, voltage regulator and other minor issues, but so far no fuel pump (Opps, I probably just jinked myself)

Mine makes weird noise every now and then. I put a spare in my saddlebag when going for a trip.

changing a fuel pump
Mine will squeal on start-up after sitting for a month or more. I am considering replacing my fuel pump on my 2012 Custom. How big of a job is it? Can it be done with the gas tank left on the bike? Thank you!

Not sure why you would want to replace the fuel pump (that start up squeal after sitting is normal, all mine do that). Depending on the miles, you may consider replacing the fuel filter.
But, replacing the fuel pump isn't difficult (same with the fuel filter). I would remove the gas tank to do it, it's simply two bolts that hold it onto the frame. You have to remove the fuel line, overflow line, and wires either way. I've never even considered doing it without removing the tank. The tank should be nearly empty, but if you set it on it's side before unbolt the fuel pump, you could probably have quite a bit of fuel still in it. Just be careful handling the fuel tank with fuel in it (it sloshes around).

I have intermittent issues with the bike as I ride over bumps. Considering trying fuel pump change.
Oh, how has your '07 1200R (Orange bike) been?
