I settled for a southern tradition (I think) egg sandwich. Fried egg on bread with Dukes mayo and salt and pepper. Yum. No more eggs yet... How is everyone?

Doing the egg sandwich on toast and mayo myself lately.

Biscuits and gravy are rare occasions these days < my birthday was one > since Holly is busy as hell at her job.

Trials and tribs of a kept man. Sigh. I know.

New coffee machine has hot chocolate singles. I am doing Death by Coffee single cups myself < strong stuff >.
Gonna be in the 70's and maybe 80's tomorrow and monday. Riding weather.
Then snow and rain again after that later in the week.
All that will drift east later.

HAHA! I'm at work. I used to love my job. Now I've got one of those bosses that makes me loathe coming in, coffee or not. Sunday was my birthday, and I spent the weekend with close friends in the mountains. Sunday night, 11;30 at home, however, I was given a fright when the lights started flickering, getting bright, and we were hearing popping noises and smelling electrical smoke. We unplugged everything and pulled the glass fuses from the fuse box. My trusty multi-meter showed that I had 240v on one leg and 0 on the other. I was out until 3 am with a flashlight cutting vines and bushes to have access to the meter, In the AM, I called the power company, and they quickly came out and found the problem immediately. Squirrels. Yep. Furry tailed tree rats. Little bastages had been chewing on the neutral line on my supply drop. After they replaced the line from the road to my house, I found that many light bulbs had been blown, 2 space heaters, and my microwave and the oven portion of my stove. I hate squirrels. Ugh! How's everyone else?

Unfortunately, my ex Father-in-law is the technical owner of the house until I pay it off, and I don't have renters insurance. Just gotta be tuff! Figured out the washer wasn't doing anything but letting water in and out. My Dad had a washer and dryer he had been dying to get rid of, luckily. All I need now is a stove.
