Err...no. But I thought these ones on the '99 I saw were mounted just for'd of the swingarm.

Peter Egan said his wife refused to ride pillion on his XLCR because the pegs were on the swingarms and she hated getting bounced around on every bump in the road.
I can only guess at what it must feel for the rider at the controls to have feet on swingarms!

They are mounted just forward of the swingarm. If I mounted them up to my bike I am afraid I would have to use the pillion peg mounts. One of the main reason I am still riding mids.

Yeah... I know high quality kit cost money, but, when you compare these prices to what you'd pay for equivalent rearsets for Jap sportsbikes (i.e. about half this price), it does make you think the manufacturers are taking the piss.

I think I'm gonna retro-fit a set off a Jap rocket.... it's easy to find wrecked rice rockets and just cut everything I need off of it......

You got that right, Will. I'm in the (very slow) process of doing that myself. I picked up the complete brake rearset, master cylinder, and bracket from an 06 CBR600 for about $15 shipped. Easy enough to bolt that straight to the sprocket cover with some spacers, but I'm using the parts to make a rearset. Shifter side to be done after the brake whenever I can get the time to screw with it.
