Default 76 XLCH 1000 Clutch Update

Hey all, hope everyone is good.

It's been a winter. Got my clutch tool. Replaced the stock clutch innards with a new out of the box Barnnet Scorpion Billet. Have the 70lbs springs in. Soaked the pads overnight.

Here's my question.

Even when pushing in the clutch all the way with the clutch tool, when in gear, there seems to be a bit of drag. Shouldn't I expect the same level of free roll on the back wheel as if it were in neutral?

Or is a little drag to be expected due to a) Scorpion b) new clutch break in c) thats normal operation, bozo?
