$1500(roughly) more, which isn't bad at all.. Of course the XR is $3k more than it is here, but someone's gotta pay for the boat ride.
Of course that doesn't account for what the dealers do over there..but I don't think HD is as popular as it is here, so maybe the can't get away with the shenaigans they pull here. For $1500, it's totally worth it.

Kev,

I'm just talking MSRPs.

Negotations will vary obviously.

But traditionally that's how Harley prices their base vs. up-models.

You see where they've incentivised Buells to the tune of $5k?
$5k for an 1125 would prolly work out..You could pick one up, wait 'til they sell out, then maybe make $1500 on it.

The suspension is a plus. I have the X model forks on mine now and they are an improvement, I'm sure the shocks are too.
But I gotta say, I'm no fan of that much black, in fact not much black at all.

LOL You rock man!

I've met my match and I'm not ashamed to say it.

That said, I'm totally on board, and think that having a kid (or 2) with her would be awesome!

RIDE SAFE MY FRIEND!!!

Not sure, I didn't find the power output being mentioned on H-D's UK, German, and French websites.

A French publication announces 91 CV (Chevaux Vapeur = Horse Power) for both bikes, but claims that revised engine and suspension characteristics improve performance. More confusion there.

For the rest, and not to repeat myself, go to

http://xlforum.net/forums/s...d.php?t=608826

for more comments and pics I took last month at the dealership in Konz/Trier (Germany) and in Metz (France). Static display in France so I tested the XR1200 there,... XR1200X test ride in Germany.
