Default How much can I get for my sporty?

Hey guys just wondering what people are getting for their Sportsters. I need to sell it and I have a lot of time and money invested in it. What do you guys think I can get for it? Clean title matching frame and cases.

“Asking prices” in my area appear to be anywhere from $2500-5k. An ironhead would have to be in cosmetically good shape and highly road worthy to fetch the upper limit on a 70s bike. It seems one never gets back what money they put into one.

Unfortunately it is the original paint factory stock bikes that bring decent money today.

The more you invest in them, the lest they are worth. Fast sale around 2000$ and the more you want, longer it take.

I’m curious, what’s making you want to sell the bike on verge of spring!?

There's many reasons but the main one is I have some obligatory expenses that have just come up and I unfortunately need to get rid of the toys.
