SportsterPaul, thanks for the tip!
I'll order a new belt & fit it, my bike 03 so rigid, think will have to take rear brake master off as mounted beside front pully cover, undo lower shock mount & belt covers loosen axle, jack under right side of frame & jiffy stand down. be interesting to see how long I take. after changing for a new belt I might pack old belt the way you said & also pack all tools I use to replace. much thanks!!
