Default Headlilght Extension for fairing

Good Afternoon, anyone know of a headlight extension I can use to make my headlight flush on the Memphis Shades Gauntlet fairing?

I see Memphis Shades makes an adapter but not for the sportster.

Thanks.

I know some of the other quarter fairing setups come with an extension. I just made mine from a piece of aluminum and an anvil and a BFH.

That can be the hardest part with fairings, fabricating an extension strong enough to hold the light and minimize vibration.

Good luck and let us know what you come up with.

It looks like yours needs to move out and down as mine did as well. I actually used an aluminum plate that a blacksmith would use in between a horses foot and it's shoe. The heel was exactly the distance needed between the mounts and then I just trimmed the front, bent it 30 degrees or so at the mounts down and then 30 or so degrees up at the headlight mounting hole. Trim it to length and then drill your hole for the headlight mount. It took a lot of on and off to get it close to perfect but it seemed like it was only one hammer smash away. I'm still not 100% Happy with it and with the Covid break I'm on I may revisit with the BFH to see if I can't perfect it. I know I need to finesse the fairing mounts as well. Mine didn't come with any so I had to manufacture my own. I borrowed a trick from someone on the forum. Electrical conduit hangers. Wonderful things!
