XLF back patch contest
Ok. Due to input from interested XLF members I have decided to have a contest to create and XLF Back Patch.
The patch is intented to be 11" - 12" (28 - 30 CM) wide and at least the same length.
The winner will get a one year XLF Team Membership, $100.00, and I will buy them their patch. Current XLF Team Members will get $140.00.
Guidelines:
Incudes XLFORUM.NET, the motto LEARN SHARE RIDE, and the word Sportster.
You can use any color combination up to 9 colors.
You can incorporate the XLF Logo at the top left of the forum.
Do not use the Harley-Davidson Bar and Shield as it is tradmarked.
Entries can be submitted until 26 July.
All patches should be emailed to me at bplinson@gmail.com.
I will create a thread with ll submitted patches and the membership can vote on the winner. In the event of a tie I will pull the winner from a hat. |

You can post you patch online prior to the thread I create but I recommend you don't so your ideas will not be used in other submissions.

Great idea BP - I still like the idea of incorporating the existing forum logo into the back patch design for continuity...if someone has the ability to do so, I sure would like to see the forum logo substituted inside the patch shown below with the International flag ring outside.

Your entry does not have to be a piece of art. The patch company will work up a graphic image for approval prior to production. You all have seen my, as it has been called, 7 year old looking attempts. :-)
You can even draw it on paper if you prefer.

In your poll I checked "maybe" and after giving it some thought I wish I could go back and check "yes". The last time I wore a patch of any kind was when I was in the Cub Scouts and until now the idea hadn't excited me at all. However, after you turning the creative side over to the forum population I am excited about it. I absolutely cannot wait to see what results are submitted and I would be absolute proud to purchase and WEAR the patch that is finally produced.
