One less tooth front pulley question
This is actually a Buell question , figure I will get more opinions here ...
97 Buell stock 27 tooth front pulley and and 61 tooth rear. 128 tooth belt, axle adjuster is about in the middle of the slot with a loose belt adjustment used on tube frame Buells.
I want to use a 26 tooth front pulley .....Do you think the one less tooth front pulley will have the axle adjuster at the rear limit of travel? Thanks

Where you post really doesn't make any difference to how many replies you get. The thread appearing on the Active Threads page is what matters.
On the other hand, if it's posted in an entirely inappropriate thread, how would anyone who's interested in the subject find the thread in future in order to benefit from the discussion.

The 26 tooth pulley is on ...The rear axle is slightly less than 2/3's of the slot adjustment with the stock drive belt...

Hope i'm not too late here.
You can use stock belt with the 26 front sprocket. i prefer this gearing myself.

Yes, he already said that he did that; it used only about ⅔ of the adjustment slot.
