IMHO, I would say 15th, cause it may be warmer & drier, later in the month. Laura's still working, but her schedule can be somewhat flexible, so what ever date that most of us can agree on will work. Laura says she likes all you guys. I don't know why, but then she did marry me & I don't understand that, either. lol

Yup, a Cananan Village. Some of Joes more memorable performances.

Lets hope my balance issue has completely passed by then. Old brains don’t recover quickly after a concussion. Almost there.
Joe the bobber is a “depends on how the girlfriends is” maybe.
Cheers.

Those were NOT MINE. Now that it is a cold case, we may never know.
Now, how do we get Texas all the way up here? Got it penciled in and look forward to the XLF experience!
I hope Xena makes it so we can see her 1275 kit...
Anyone miss Boudwood?

Hi mick42,
I'm curious, how many miles were on your 05' when the rear wheel bearing failed?
I also have an 05' 1200R.
Thanks

The bearings had been replaced when I had the wheels powder coated about 25k miles ago. The most likely reason for the failure was an over tightened belt. The bike has about 65k now.

Quick update:
Covid is over and everybody wants to go out and do some camping.
There are not many good campsites left for the week of the 15th.
I’m going to grab a trailer site this Sunday night for the 16th to the 19th.
I’ll be taking the bike out of stasis soon and I hope to be on the road, weather permitting, after April fools day. And this depends on a OK from my neurologist. Even if I can’t ride I’ll be camping and trout fishing in the local rivers those days.
Happy Saint Patrick’s day mates!
