Both of the adaptors I have were made by Kuryakyn. I don't see them in their current catalog, just the HSR models. Similar design

Default Bendex Zenith Carb

I'll trade two Bendex Zenith carbs for one with choke and adjustable Jet! one is the smaller jet/non adjustable and the other has a C size jet and no choke lol!

Grinning at a necro thread with a new member pushing broke ass parts.

Good luck. Thanks for the grin.

Sorry I jerked yer chain.
Sometimes I don't know when to clam up.

Missing chokes are needed in cold weather. Living in the desert here. No biggy.

Hope my apology is accepted.
After all. I saw the LOL and thought joke.

Apology Accepted! My dilemma is open headers require a little bigger jet and carb #1 has the smallest jet which leaning out the engine and although has a choke it’s a non adjustable jet carb. The other does not have a choke but has an adjustable “C” jet. I’m going to combine the best of the two and use the adjustable body and no choke. Great for kick start only lol!

Took the accel pump off the non adjustable carb and transferred it over to the adjustable jet carb and she lives now!

Sounds like my shop.

To be on thread point. I always preferred using a bendix on my points only, 74 incher, jockey shift, primary belt drive, kick only, 4 speed ratchet top. shovelhead softail wide glide.

That 74 incher with low compression pistons was a single kick bike with a bendix and one pump in the desert. I kept the compression low enough to start it by hand.

To be fair. Super E carbs were kinda new gear back when I built that scooter. So the dollars did not justify the purchase and install when we already had parts on the shelf.

It is still parked in the corner <softail>. Unloved and under fed. Waiting on me to get other stuff done.

Was thinking of changing to a CV or super E on a XLCH. Have to find one that fits with a magneto and a internal throttle cable. Had a Mikuni on a 60 XL that no longer had the mag. and internal throttle and it worked good.
