I kind of miss the ignition cover with the lightning bolts.i just noticed it's been replaced.

Yea I lost it on a ride and was going to get another, but my wife got this one. ( Happy Wife Happy ...)
It has a black widow on it so it matches the pegs and brake light.

Man I have lost so much crap on this bike from vibration I think I should own stock in Loc-Tite.

Well done! That fresh chain and sprocket doubtless came in useful! Really impressed that you have achieved such good reliability now.

For those of us who are still pondering the limits of the standard basket, how is the (Kawa) clutch holding up? Any issues at all?

The " Grafted " clutch basket has been great holding up very well.
Funny you ask I just got an Email from MTX about if I was still looking to do a trial run of baskets . I never got back to them after doing mine.

I am actually thinking of putting a Barnette Scorpion clutch in it since the extra plate setup still slips every now and then.
I hope some day I can get a video from one of the guys in the club showing how hard I really am on this ol bike, and for it being "daily transpo" it holds up great .

Great that it is holding up so well. Keep us up to date with developments please. Are MTX wanting to make a basket for us?
Bandit offered to do a run of billet clutches but they expected a minimum order - not unreasonable.

I also run the Barnett extra plate kit as well but it holds up fine to what I do. Instead of tuning I decided to focus on brakes
and handling; it works out less expensive!

What they were thinking of doing was to use the KZ billet ones they currently make and drill the rivet holes to match our charging rotor.
They ask If I could send them a good basket so they could see what it would take to make it work. I didn't have a good basket.

iNSaNeSHaNe, that is really good news! Great idea! If I recall correctly, you found that everything else fitted (?).

Would you consider posting a thread that is specifically on this topic? It will be important for folks who have tuned early
Evos and late alternator Iron Heads who want a stronger basket. Maybe someone like Duker could help them out with the
HD basket. A specific thread could test the market to see how many folks might buy one from MTX.
