Please be careful with "market speak" when promoting products.
Please stick to facts that relate directly to your products advantages.

Specifically.
"No more fade, pour engagement and clutch chatter…"
These are not problems that the factory release in good condition and properly adjusted causes.

Yep another solution finding a problem. Keeping an Ironhead Sportster running requires maintenance - cables lubed, valves adjusted, clutch adjusted, timing adjusted, etc. So ya gotta ask, if the clutch setup was sooooo bad from 1957 to 1985, why do they still work? Do I need or want a new improved "snake oil" hydraulic mechanism for my Ironhead?

I would not call it snake oil.

The product is not bad, but it won't cure your asthma.

No cable can work as smooth as Hydraulics. or auto-adjust.
Those are the "non-market speak" selling points.

Changing to hydro involves more than just the servo.
And you racking up a significant parts bill for a finished product.
Not an exercise for the faint of heart to do it nice.

The 71+ clutch set up was (what I heard) a copy of the clutch release on an Indian. A REAL Indian. The complaint from me would be how it looks with that cable diving into the primary, or how the new primary cover looked like crap compared to a proper tin plate. Most serious complaint would be why replace that beautiful early stock set up in the first place? The HD design was easy to work on and worked perfect.

Getting further into a 71 I'd like to have had AMF spend the money on better hard facing on the gears. In a pretty low mile bike, the inside of the transmission case would look like someone had dumped a handful of glitter in there, which was actually the hard facing coming off the gears. You just didn't see that on genuine HD gears.

The new improved set up reminds me of the guys from Chicago racing a big twin at Bonneville. He had a home made air shift deal that consistently busted transmissions that NEVER ever break. Yep, he had a cool air shifter........
