Default BMST-2018 at the Salt Flats

Folks just got back from Bonneville and the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed trials.

First the salt condition was as good as it gets. Nice and hard with good weather, that is cooler than normal.

Bubba Rocho with NRHS set a 1650 A-PBF record on 168.2xx MPH
He broke the standing record on the first run and then broke his own fresh record on the 2nd run.

All my pics here

Here they are getting ready for run 3.

Photos row 14. The bike #112. Looks like Bumper car from carnival. What in Cornbread Hell is it?

Some 125cc side car contraption. Not sure if it was a honda or what.
The external temp plumbing setup was a precooler so it would not overheat during the run. No vents for air cooling on that body.

You see some weird bikes out there.
