I will wear a Modular, full face or 3/4. I high sided at a concrete creek crossing and slid several yards in gravel. Glad I had the full face on at the time because I would have been diggin rocks out of the left side of my face.

I first started off with a 3/4 helmet for a few months when i started riding in 2005. Then I went with a half helmet from then until now. But my last long trip I tried a full face shoei neotec because of all the rain they were calling for which it never rained and I brought my half helmet which I never used. I like the way the full face breaks the wind and also with the sena radio in it i can listen to music or talk to other riders if they have one also. Might not go back to the half helmet.
