My 1984 turbo convertible upgraded to 300hp and that is enough for me but if you think these turbo 4s are not capable do a search on youtube for jon huber running 8s in the 1/4 mile and just shy of 1000hp

I showed some jerk in a Mercedes CLK 500 my tail lights yesterday. He was driving about 10 mph below the speed limit in the left lane on the interstate (light traffic). As I signaled to move to the right lane to pass, he sped up, matching my speed. I left the cruise on and went on my way, but he continued to drive right beside me and finally sped up and got in front of me, slowing down again. I signaled to move to the left lane and pass him again, and guess what...he began to speed up again.

I downshifted to 4th and floored it. He put the pedal to the metal, too, but I slowly pulled away. When he was about 3 car lengths behind me, I looked down and was up to about 120 mph. Oops! Time to let off the gas before I get caught speeding. Anyway, he didn't pass again...I'd guess he was embarrassed that his $50,000 car was humbled by a lightly-modded 15 year old Mustang GT.

Here's the view he got...

Here is my Ford , it is a Rare Model , it is a 1969 Ford Cobra , yes Ford made them , this is a formal roof (more rare than a fastback) 428 / 4 speed , factory AM/FM radio , oil cooler , 3.50 rear gear , posi / traction lok , factory ram air "R" code (Q code was non ram air) factory bucket seats with center console , most people never even heard of a Ford Cobra (yes it is a Fairlane body) I like models that are not common , this is a factory color combo also.

Yes those models are rare. Yours looks very good. Brings back memories of my first car (1975). Mine was similar to yours, a '69 Torino GT model with the formal roof. It had the 351 Windsor 4bbl engine, 4 speed, hood scoop, hood pins. It was dark green, with a vinyl roof. I paid a whopping $600 for it. Sold it after a couple years, she was rusting pretty bad. Wisconsin winters are tough on cars. I would love to find a fastback with a 428 cobra jet, but prices are sky high. Thanks for showing your car, glad to see these old cars still running.
