I've been using a G-MAX model OF77 for a couple years. It's a 3/4 with an internal, flip down sun shield & an outer, clear, flip up full face shield. It also has an optional chin bar that makes it into a full face. Very light weight, comfortable for me, but noisy. Got to use good ear plugs. Which I do anyway, whether I'm wearing a helmet or not. $120.

I wear a Shoei RF-SR with a spectra blue visor. Full face. It's comfortable as all get-out.

Like “wardie” said, get the very best you can afford, you’re worth it. I went to my first full face, a Shoei 900, about 18 years ago. It had been 3/4 helmets before that. Currently I’m in a RF1200 with a “Transitions” shield. The very best that I’ve ever worn. Expensive, yes, but damn it I’m worth it!

If it's cold or I have to ride on the interstate for any distance I wear a Bell open face helmet with a face shield. (Those cheap flat snap-ons.) I have to admit that I ride without one in the heat of the year, back road putting, easy cruising. I gave up full time helmet wearing when the state legalized rider's choice.
The hat does make fast freeway riding a lot more comfortable. If I was going out to strafe corners I would wear it.
