It was a beautiful fall day at the end of September.

I was ridiing westerly in the late afternoon. Bright sunshine was overhead.
The sky was an ocean of blue with billowing clouds sailing across it.
It was a near perfect weather day to enjoy being on two wheels
to find some peace, relaxation and also adrenaline.
Come ride along at My Motorcycle Chronicles for the rest of the story.

Keep on keeping on my friend. Colors are changing here so will be appreciative over the next couple weeks. (Been Honda running, your brother might approve, and enjoying zipping around!)

My first ride in October was with my brother.
We crossed the Susquehanna River & enjoyed some of the roads
in southern Lancaster County near the river.
This was one of the bridges we crossed. It is over the Conestoga 'River'...
We also rode quite a bit of country roads, zig-zagging our way to our various destinations.
There's a comment about the driver of that silver Audi Roadster in my ride report at My Motorcycle Chronicles.

I was riding with my brother. We met at Dillsburg, rode thru East Berlin and visted the city of York.
One of the fields we passed was full of Sunflowers.
While riding in York
we headed north on Pershing Ave and turned east onto Market Street.

The left building is the Golden Plough Tavern which dates to 1741 and has the unique blend of vertical timber and horizontal log construction. It's thought to have been patronized by those of the 2nd Continental Congress during 1777/78.
The building to the right (built about 1751) is where General Horatio Gates resided during that congress. You can read up on the historical kerfuffle he was involved with by checking out the Conway Cabal (involving Thomas Conway).
When the Continental Congress abandoned Philadelphia in 1777, it moved to York. Here the Articles of Confederation were adopted using the term "United States of America". This made York the First Capital of the "United States of America" and it remained the Capital until June 27, 1778.
You can read about the rest of our ride by visiting My Motorcycle Chronicles.

I was riding on a beautiful October day. The weather was near perfect.
I was in search of some Eagles and headed to the Conowingo Dam in Maryland.
One of the places I passed was this old flour mill. With all the bikes out front I suspect there might be
an off-the-books bar going on in there... Or a group home for wayward riders...
Get the rest of the ride report at My Motorcycle Chronicles.

Thanks again Ken, I recently took a run with Greg,(Sprink), over to the west of Detroit. Had hoped to get a few shots along the way but didn’t, a problem I need to work on. The highlight was passing through Hell, Michigan which led us to some winding roads, few here in Michigan. I’ll try to do better next time.

While I was there (no eagles) there was a Cormorant in the water. Diving down and coming up every few minutes. Just before I left, it came up with a fish, crosswise, in its mouth. A few more dives and it came up with it straight in - Gulped it down - while the Photographers were frantically running sequential shots of the scene.
It sounds like you needed a bobber on the line to keep it above the bottom. But what do I know - I'm not a fisherman, and don't play one on TV...
