I have a Craft half helmet and it's great. I had a Nolan 3/4 with a visor before but I much prefer the half and a pair of goggles.

Used to ride with a Half Helmet until my buddy got in a accident last year and messed up his face. I'm to pretty to have my face messed up.

I ride with this now. SHOEI RF-1000. Best bang for the buck if you want a High Quality FF Helmet IMO.

I always felt safer with a Full Face anyways. I Never really embraced the Harley half helmet lifestyle attutude.
Still have the half helmets but they collect dust.

Chris what does the helmet look like on you, looking for a new myself & don't want the mushroom head look, I only wear one because of my wife when she catches me or when going to work in MA

I wear a Shoei RF-700, thinking of upgrading to a TZ-R. Black, of course.

My wife wears an HJC half-helmet when she rides with me. She has neck problems, so a 3/4 or full-face feels way too heavy to her.

As I come from a sportbike background, I've always ridden with a full-face helmet. When I test-rode the 883 Iron last Friday, I figured I'd try out one of the half-helmets, just to see what it was like. Riding on the city streets, it was just fine, although I've gotta say, I'd need earplugs and goggles if I was going to wear one on the freeway for very long. I'd actually thought about getting a half helmet for riding on the highway/country roads, but we'll see about that. I couldn't bring myself to wear one on my daily commute; too many cellphone-wielding idiots in the Phoenix area, and I don't relish the idea of taking a bite out of some errant SUV's fender.

I was actually surprised by the high percentage of respondents to the poll who wear full-face helmets. I'm just glad that here in AZ, we still have a choice whether to wear one or not. I do, but I feel strongly that people should have the right to make this decision for themselves.
