to answer your question from the photo thread.wet clutches became available after people had problems keeping their dry clutches dry.many dry owners are convinced that dry is the best set up,but it takes some effort.there are threads on this by DR DICK.in the stickys section.read up.

Well, I think we can safely say that Dr Dick is not a fan of wet clutches. !
However, since I already have a wet clutch ( and I can,t afford everything at once) it will probably stay until such time as it proves inadequate for this stock motor lol.

If you have needle bearings in the cam cover, I expect you'll find more go-fast parts in the motor. What markings do you see on the cams?

P and PB, though from my sofa I can,t remember what cams they were on !
It has a Bendix carb, which seems enormous (and has no choke) with a wire mesh filter.
And the standard no baffle exhaust lol.
