Thanks.
Yeak ok, I'll spill it. Had a talk with the service manager at the local dealership last week. They've got something opening up come spring but can probably take me on sooner. Doing a more formal sit down Wednesday.
I said I'm more than willing to start at the bottom changing oil and shit. I don't think they've really got anyone specializing in the Sporty and they all know my bike. Maybe a plus?
And like I said, I've alway been a quick study. All I need is a foot in the door.

I'm pretty much self taught at everything.
But I have done a tom of courses over the years. More than I care to count.
When I was hiring people to help me I was not concerned one way or another if they had a degree or not. Generally, the people with with degrees didn't have a clue on how to fix problems. Which was what I needed. Because that's why I was hired. To fix
I did go to Uni later in life but the tutors and lecturers knew less than I did. They asked me to help them design a new network at Queensland University of Technology.
A willingness to learn, an open mind and a respectful attitude goes a very long way in life.
Am I the only one who sees the Ducati in education ? Coincidence ? I think not.
