You say cop have been used on MC for awhile huh? They haven't been on them as long as automotive has been using them. It's not big secret or you don't need special equipment to diagnose them. Your talking out your a$$ again
hummmmmm?????
welllll!!!!!!
maybe you have not been looking?
sure you are right, been on car/trucks a decade or so, BUT, they have been on industrial machines WAYYYYYY longer.
ok, big boy, tell me how you are going to diagnose a miss say on a ford aviator with cops under cover???
the miss could be several things so specialized equipment is needed to ease diagnostics. sure you can remove cover, swap, cover back on and etc, etc, etc.
but then you are a gluten for punishment. i prefer a systematic approach, not fly by the seat of the pants, saves time and money.
i would like to seat you down next to an industrial engine for diagnostics, assuming you are NOT a parts changer, i do not think you would fair well. some of these engines, you could chunk your hd into it and spit out a metal pancake.
just because someone puts a dampener in your works about cops and your response tells me all i need to know, nuff said
open your eyes and mind, research is beautiful
BTW: man up dude, say what you gotta say here, not sneaky pete style to my message box.

CCC
Industrial machines?..
Well your getting closer John Boy...FARM EQUIPMENT is the word your looking for seeing how where talking about a 5,500rpm engine with a displacement equivalent to most family sedans and won't pull its ass out of ditch .Industrial equipment gimme a break
what are you smoking?
never heard of caterpilar, waukesha, white superior and the list goes on. how about 2000hp at 375rpm. or 1900 hp on a straight 6 mep, they have a 4 cyl that puts out 1500 hp.
farm equipment indeed.
have you even put a chain on a schwin bicycle? hummm probably not, tooooo complicated.
have you ever look under the hood of a ford avaitor??? no coils, no wires showing, all under the valve covers just like a cat natural gas engine. if that engine goes down today, the oil company wants it back online yesterday, no time to fly by the seat of the pants hillbilly style.
cop has been on these types of engines from the 90's easily.
like i said, why sneaky pete to my inbox, man up dude, say it here.
ole saying: " rather be thought as a fool than open the mouth and remove all doubt"!!!
