Start at the battery ground spot on the motor mount bolt. Clean it shiny.

Use the ohms scale of a multi meter. Touch the two leads together and make sure that it reads less than one ohm.

Clip one lead to the clean shiny metal then start checking around the frame with the other lead.

Im rewiring with new wires.Ground point is from bike frame.A hot jumper is used to power newly wired switches and buttons. Test light is used to determine there is a connection all was working as planned that not of issue... Now the only time test light will light is from neg/pos posts battery.Battery is 13 amps.Do not over think this No grounds of any kind is working on motorcycle works at all with any test light.

There is no connection from the negative terminal to the frame.

Obviously not! Either you have ZERO understanding of electricity, OR you are just trolling us for entertainment.

How is the frame connected to the off-the-bike automotive battery?

Third request for answers to post 10 questions.

If the test light is functional and it fails to light, the circuit is open...most likely the negative path is not complete.

Possibilities include:
A. This is a joke or troll or
B. Basic electrical knowledge does not include grounding a circuit to the battery.
C. The ground point on the bike is not making electrical contact to the battery ground.

Default What I Found.....

[SIZE="5"Remember the Test Light did work on every ground spot then stopped....So finally I tried a Multi Meter and got readings 5,8,10 amps.Yet strangely Test Light still will not pick up on it as it once did.It is fairly new 1 month old and prefer it for simple checks but it seems to be ailing and the cause of the ruckus.I can not trust anything new,Dont buy 2 to check the other.
