Ken, again thanks for sharing, sorry about the sandwich. Admittedly I’m way over due for some roadwork. Got some potato, potato sounds from the HotRod bike, been laid up over 6 years and parts due tomorrow. Should be on the road this weekend. Sadly I’ll be doing another mercy run to Florida, flying down this time.

Glad you're getting closer to the wind... That's motivation to finish up and enjoy the saddle...
There are 1000's of restaurants that serve Reuben sandwiches - I've got my work cut out for me, too... As long as my belt doesn't break...

I was out riding on July 3.
My brother and I rode along the Susquehanna River and the rolling hills of southern York County.
It was a beautiful day to exercise the Freedom we enjoy in the United States.

TROUBLE came calling just after I posted that...

The only downer was my clutch developed a loose cable. The lever would move about 1/2 the way toward the grip before starting to release the clutch. So, the clutch was definitely dragging when the lever was fully pulled. I suspect the Release Bearing went bad. I'll have a check as soon as I get a chance. (ETA: Thread Here)

IT WAS THE DREADED GRENADING SPRING PLATE...
I'll be down for a few more days as I get new clutch plates ( Thread Here) --- but this is an opportunity for you to CHECK OUT some of my other ride reports...

Sorry to read this. Get back on the road soon. I had a Barnett clutch put in at 25K, much easier to use & stronger, I had planned a 1200 conversion eventually.
