Default Where To Get Free Air

I just thought I'd share some good information. A while back, I noticed an air machine at Lowe's. Why waste money, if you live near a Lowe's?

By the breath. That'll be the next new tax...

~$50 buys you a small 12V or 110V compressor. That's a helluvalot handier than riding/driving somewhere for air.

It's cheaper to buy your own air machine than to buy a hose long enough to get that Lowes free air home.

Nice to know if all Lowe's have it. Few gas stations have free air around here. Half the machines that cost over a dollar are broken anyway.

Oh, and I could bring it home from Lowe's in my air can!

+1, I bought a cheap one at Home Depot for about that much years ago...then later upgraded to a $200 Makita MAC700 I like much better. Anyway wish I'd bought a compressor much sooner and FWIW gave the cheap one to a friend and she is still using it many years later.

Harbor Freight has 3 gallon compressors for under $50 for your garage. You can get a little one to carry with you for less than that.

I have a Milwaukee M12 volts intelligent portable, multi-tasks, cordless and electronically adjustable pressure monitored compressor that stop when the right pressure is reached. 80.00$ at Home depot and it came with a 2 ah battery and charger. No free air but won't change it for anything else.

Now will go for a 80% nitrogen fill-up on all my tires. That battery last about an hour.

One of these travels with me on road trips.
It's small and it works.

In my garage there's a real 220V 2 stage compressor.

Viair 85P is a good inflator, used mine for years deflating and inflating my truck tires for offroad travel. The 85P has a screw on connector, much nicer to use than the lever type bicycle connector, especially on rubber valve stems.
