Hey, out there, theres more here! I've been on this forum for about a month, and just NOW found this regional section. I would have been on here if I had known! We're a small state gotta stick together, huh! Gotta admit, I just moved here from CT(another giant state), and still spend much of my riding time in NW CT. So, anyway, RI's, give us a shout, OK? Rhode Island. The smallest state in the Union, BUT it has the longest name. It's the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

Home of Weenies, Goose Wing Beach, Ganset, Lincoln Downs, and a lake (pond?) called Twin Rivers. Never heard of it.

Whaaaaat? d Leave there for 48 years and bang, just like that things change.

I used to walk through the woods and hang out around the stables now and then. It wasn't a very long walk.

Speaking of long lost parts of RI, I can't understand how Crescent Park went out of business. That place was always full. My grandmother used to take me there on a bus. That was before Dementia took over and she forgot who any of us were.

They had a ride that was a big board track with rails imbedded in it and motorcycles on those tracks. That ride put me where I am right now, still on a bike.
